BIOFarm~School
Organic garden programme
In order to promote organic
farming, BIOFarm cooperated with the Shanghai Roots & Shoots group
of Dr. Jane Goodall foundation to start up on-campus organic
gardens. BIOFarm’s technical consulting team offers periodic
training courses for R&S volunteers. Doing so, we hope that a seed
of friendly treating the Land has been planted in every student’s
heart. Once after a student got his/her own personal experience and
practice of organic farming, with dusty hands, running sweats and
wild laughers, it would be so obvious to appreciate organic farming
and the harmony of a human being with all of the creature in the
Nature. The increase number of R&S school organic gardens tells that
we can foresee the future of our children and the hope of
sustainability of our world.
 
BIOFarm not only attracts many families to come close to the Nature
in view of its aboundant biodivisity, but also turns out to be the
place which is the most reluctant to leave for many
eco-experts and organizations caring environmental protection issues
on bird’s resting places, wetland recovery, eco-recording,
astronomic observation and horoscope. Welcome you to come visit our
farm and to realize the environment where we live with the helps
from our eco-experts. You definitely may find your own story about

At
BIOFarm, there are routinely held a serial of lectures and workshops
on the topics such as “Organic Farming”, “Green Shopping” and
“Eco-education”. We provide a great chance for school and enterprise
to get involved with community activities , especially to promote
environmental protection. To encourage peoples to get involved these
workshops and lectures, BIOFarm may grant an “Organic eco-Angle”
certificate for those qualified by BIOFarm’s experts,
after a serial of training courses.
