Mother’s day is a day when we all take time to remember and celebrate the woman in our life who has given us so much over the years and who continues to give to us every day. Whether you’re planning a surprise visit, a trip to her favorite restaurant or maybe just a drawing from the kids…take time to make her feel extra special this year...make sure it is something that shows her that you thought of her unique personality and style and shows her that you took time and care in planning the gift.

Guided Farm Tour: Are you still sleepy in the past spring days?  Time to wake up!  Don’t you feel summer sunshine and warm breeze embracing us and touching trees, flowers and river water?  Every corner here is giving its best smile to you on the special mom’s day.

Farm Animals: New baby goat is almost 5-month-old.  The cutie is growing up and becomes much stronger under the care of his mommy! Our Holland lops love to enjoy sun bath on the lawn. Come and make friends with them, especially with the adopted piggy-Bebi, who is very healthy but naughty.

DIY Strawberry Card Craft: To make one’s own love card to your mom with a sweet kiss.

BIOFarm Farmers’ Market: Fresh and seasonal vegetables and fruits as well as various farm-made products will be set up to satisfy your shopping rush.  Exemplified seasonal veggies include: butter head lettuce, kohlrabi, beet root, water spinach and more.  Limited organic strawberry picking will be arranged.

Organic Kitchen:  Cooking demonstration of seasonal veggies/fruit.

Home Garden: Share your experience on herb planting with everyone.

 13:30 –14:00 Introduction of organic basket as a healthy gift to mom; Green Shopping    Question Time on CSA Basket Membership&“One-Day Volunteer” Program!

 * The final schedule of above activities will be set based on the agenda posted at BIOFarm on that day.  

< Entrance Fee > 

1.Entrance Fee: RMB 30 each person. BIOFarm member per se, children under

Age 2 and the elder above Age 70 are admitted free.  

* The entrance fee of RMB 30 can be totally used to pay for any market day expense, including the fee for the purposes of purchasing fresh produces, dry products, workshop, CSA membership and the like. No cash refunds are available.

2. Market Vendor Notice: Eco-minded Vendors are most welcome, but please make a reservation with BIOFarm first. Each booth includes free entrance for two people. All the incomes will belong to the vendors as long as a permit card has been given for that day. The booth owner agrees to donate 5% of the income to BIOFarm for Eco-promotion activities. Any donation to charity organization on spot is highly appreciated.
